Plot
The story centres on Sister Yulia, a nun in a Russian convent who claims to have immaculately conceived twin boys. According to an ancient prophecy, one twin is destined to be the Messiah and the other the Antichrist. The Vatican, alarmed by this claim, dispatches Father Fox and Cardinal Russo to investigate. Recognising the potential threat, they relocate Yulia to a secluded estate in Estonia owned by Laura, Father Fox’s fiancée. As the story unfolds, leading to the deaths of Laura and Cardinal Russo, Father Fox contemplates eliminating the perceived evil twin. What happens next is revealed in the film.
