The Indian cricket team received a significant morale boost ahead of their much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday (February 23) in Dubai. Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has arrived in Dubai to cheer the squad and provide much-needed support ahead of the high-pressure encounter.

A viral picture of Bumrah’s arrival is now circulating on social media. His arrival adds to this blockbuster showdown’s excitement, as fans eagerly await the clash between the two cricketing giants.

Bumrah was ruled out of the tournament due to a back issue but he remains committed to backing his teammates in this crucial fixture. His presence is expected to uplift the team’s spirits as they prepare for the intense battle at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan face India in do-or-die clash

The greatest rivalry in cricket is set to be revived in Dubai international stadium as India and Pakistan lock horns in the high pressure match. The last time India and Pakistan clashed in a Champions Trophy event was during the 2017 edition’s final, when Virat Kohli-led star-studded unit was humbled by Men in Green at the peak of star batters’ run-chasing powers, being skittled out for 158 runs while chasing a mammoth 338 runs which Pakistan reached on the back of a century from Fakhar Zaman.

However this time around The Men in Blue enter the match high in confidence after 6 wickets in over Bangladesh in their opening match at the same venue. Pakistan on the other hand are in a do-or-die situation having lost their opening match to New Zealand in Karachi.

A loss for Men in green (Pakistan)will see their journey nearly ending on group stage, while a win will see them keep their hoped alive of defending the crown. A win for Indis will see them having one foot in the knockout stage of the tournament.
