Mumbai: Central Railway on Saturday announced to operate several trains on the occasion of Holi from Mumbai to Nagpur, Nanded and Goa’s Madgaon. Special trains will also run from Pune to Nagpur to reduce rush during the festive season.
These trains will originate from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus & Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai. Central Railway gave the information in this regard in a series of ‘X’ posts.
Details Of The Special Trains:
Every train will have two trips in a week except from CSMT to Nagpur because it will be giving a service of four trips to the citizens. The trains are scheduled for different days, like:
Four Special Trips Between LTT and Madgaon
From March 13 to March 20, special trains will run from LTT to Madgaon. From March 14 to March 21, the same train will run from Madgaon to LTT for citizens.
Halts: Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangam-eshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road & Madgaon.
Four Special Trains Between Pune and Nagpur
From March 11 to 19, special trains will run between Pune and Nagpur, while from March 12 to March 20, special trains will run between Nagpur and Pune.
Halts: Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon & Wardha.
Four Special Trains Between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Hazur Sahib Nanded
From March 12 to March 19, special trains will run between Hazur Sahib Nanded and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus. On the same day, the trains will run from Nanded to LTT.
Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Kurduwadi, Barsi Town, Os-manabad, Latur, Latur Road, Parli, Gangakher, Parbhani and Purna.
Eight Special Trips Between Csmt and Nagpur
From CSMT to Nagpur, special trains will run from March 9 to March 11 and again from March 16 to March 18. The train will run on the same dates as a special train from Nagpur to CSMT.
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha.
Four Special Trips Between Csmt and Madgaon
From March 6 to March 13, special trains will run from CSMT to Madgaon. Madgaon to CSMT trains will also run during the same days.
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhu durg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim & Madgaon.
The will start from February 24 for all the Holi 2025 Special trains.
