The car of the convoy of former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly became a victim of an accident while going to Burdwan on Thursday. The incident took place on the Durgapur Expressway in Dadpur in Hooghly district. It is a matter of relief that all people including Sourav Ganguly are completely safe.
How did the accident happen?
It was raining at that time and roads were slippery. A lorry suddenly stopped in front of Ganguly’s convoy, causing the cars to suddenly brake.

- However, two cars running back in the convoy collided.
- According to the police officer, the vehicles suffered mild damage in this collision, but no one was injured.

Ganguly reached the program despite the accident
Ganguly continued his program even after the accident.

Ganguly said – “Burdwan is very happy”
Ganguly said at the honor ceremony,
“I am overwhelmed. Burdwan looks great after coming. I am happy that you invited me. The BDS (Burdwan Sports Association) was trying to call me for a long time, and it is very good to come here today. ”
He also said that the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has been working closely with the Burdwan Sports Organization for the last 50 years.
“Many great players have emerged from this district, and we have to find a similar talented players in the future.”
Although there was no major untoward incident from the accident, it was a shocking incident.
