The Punjab cabinet meeting postponed on February 10 was held in Chandigarh today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, due to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal calling a meeting of Punjab MLAs in Delhi. In this meeting, the government took several important decisions, in which 3000 new recruits were announced in government departments.
In this recruitment process:
2000 posts will be of PTI (Physical Education Teachers) Health department will have 822 new recruits 6 new courts will be set up to settle NRI cases
Sixth Pay Commission will get dues till 2028
After the cabinet meeting, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema told the press conference that the salary dues will be given in various stages by 2028 under the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission. However, if the government gets the first budget available with the government, then this amount can also be paid quickly.
In addition, the special session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly has been called on 24 and 25 February, which is likely to be discussed and passed on pending bills and other important bills.
So far, more than 50,000 recruitments will be completed, new posts will be created
Finance Minister Harpal Cheema said that during the tenure of the AAP government, more than 50,000 government posts have been made so far. He also said that the government is now creating more new posts, which will provide employment to the youth of the state.
Case of people deployed from US: AAP government targeted the center
The Punjab government has initiated strict action against travel agents in cases of people returning from the US. Speaking on this issue, Harpal Singh Cheema attacked the central government.
“Another aircraft is coming on 15 February, which will again land Amritsar. It is clear that the BJP government at the Center is discriminating against Punjabis. We demand that this ship be taken to Ahmedabad in Gujarat. This flight consists of only 30-40 people of Punjab, while the rest are from other states. ”
The AAP government claims that the central government is deliberately launching the flights of those who have been deployed in Amritsar, so that the image of Punjab can be tarnished.
Cabinet meeting held after four months, pressure to fulfill the promises increased
After losing power in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has the only state left for Punjab, where it has government. In such a situation, today’s cabinet meeting was considered very important.
