The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the board examinations of class 10th and 12th on Friday. JAC said that the decision was taken after the announcement of public holiday for Shab-e-Baaraat by the Government of Jharkhand. Now these exams will be held on 4 March.

The statement released by JAC stated that the matriculation and intermediate examination to be held on 14 February has been postponed. Now these examinations will be held on March 4 at the respective examination centers. Jack Secretary Jayant Kumar Mishra said that this decision has been taken due to Shab-e-Baaraat, and the examinations scheduled on 14 February will now be taken on March 4.

On February 14, Hindi A and English A examinations were scheduled for the matriculation Khadia, Khoratha, Kurmali, Nagpuri and Panch Pargania languages ​​examinations and intermediate science and commerce students. Now all these exams will be held on March 4. On March 4, there will be matriculation in the first shift and the intermediate examination will be held in the second shift.

The matriculation and intermediate examination on Thursday was peaceful. This year, more than 7.84 lakh students have enrolled in the Jharkhand Board examinations.
