The controversy in the Shiv Sena (UBT) has deepened after NCP leader Sharad Pawar honored Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde at an event held in Delhi. The Shiv Sena (UBT) strongly criticized the move, after which party leader Aditya Thackeray reached Delhi and met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal there. But during this time he kept distance from Sharad Pawar, while Pawar was also present in Delhi. Questions are arising from this, whether everything is not good in Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA)? After all, why did Aditya Thackeray not meet Sharad Pawar despite being in Delhi?
There was a ruckus on honoring Eknath Shinde by Sharad Pawar
On Wednesday, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and MP Sanjay Raut criticized Sharad Pawar for honoring Eknath Shinde at an event in Delhi. The ceremony was organized by Sarhad, a non-governmental organization before the All India Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. The welcome committee of this literature conference is Sharad Pawar and the program is taking place in Delhi from 21 to 23 February this year.
The leaders of the Shiv Sena (UBT) believe that it is wrong to honor Shinde, who formed the government by revolting from the Shiv Sena. Reacting to this, NCP (SP) leaders said that it is not new to come together in cultural and other social programs beyond political differences in Maharashtra.

Aditya Thackeray’s strategic meetings in Delhi, but distance from Sharad Pawar
Aditya Thackeray reached Delhi late Wednesday evening amid a controversy over Sharad Pawar honoring Eknath Shinde. He met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday afternoon.
Talking to the media, Aditya Thackeray said that these meetings were just a courtesy meeting. However, he questioned the results of Maharashtra and Delhi assembly elections. They said,
“A big question mark has arisen on how independent and fair elections are becoming in our country. The election process does not look transparent. “
Aditya Thackeray also said that MVA objected to adding 47 lakh new voters in Maharashtra.
Interestingly, Thackeray did not meet Sharad Pawar in Delhi. When the media persons questioned them about this, they replied,
“We keep meeting them when needed in Mumbai.”
This intensified the discussion that the inner crack in MVA is increasing and the Shiv Sena (UBT) is now increasing more intimacy with its other colleagues – Congress and AAP in the India alliance.
Thackeray’s support on Raut’s statement, question on honoring Shinde
Aditya Thackeray supported Raut even after Sanjay Raut criticized Sharad Pawar. They said,
“Shinde stole our party and election symbol. While Chief Minister, he sent the industries of Maharashtra to neighboring states. Then why was he honored? “
Thackeray also met his MPs in Delhi, but did not meet any leader of NCP (Sharad Pawar).
Growing cracks in MVA or just strategy?
Aditya Thackeray’s meeting with Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal is being seen as an attempt to strengthen the Shiv Sena (UBT) within the India alliance. At the same time, he kept a distance from Sharad Pawar and indicated that tension between Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP) is increasing.
At the same time, another interesting turn in Maharashtra politics is that Aditya Thackeray is also meeting Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. Relations between Fadnavis and Shinde have been tense in recent months, making many political equations.
Now it will be seen whether MVA is able to move out of this dispute firmly or this alliance is gradually weakening.
