There is a strong possibility of two Deputy Chief Ministers to become the Chief Minister. Because, this has also been done in many other states, where two Deputy Chief Ministers have been made, including leaders of different backgrounds. The same policy has also been adopted in BJP -ruled Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The BJP Legislature Party is likely to meet on Sunday to choose the leader of the House.

The names of many BJP MLAs are being discussed among the Chief Ministerial contenders. It also includes the name of Pravesh Verma, who has defeated Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal and became MLA from New Delhi seat. Apart from this, senior leaders like former Delhi BJP president Vijendra Gupta, Satish Upadhyay and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Pawan Sharma, Ashish Sood, Rekha Gupta and Shikha Rai are also in the race for the post of Chief Minister.
