The stock market saw a decline on the fourth day of the business week i.e. on Thursday. Both Sensex and Nifty closed on the red mark. The Sensex closed at 76,092.78 with a drop of 78.30 points. While the Nifty fell at 23,019.90.

 

Decline in Sensex

The local stock market declined again after registering a good increase in early trade. Between US President Donald Trump’s trade war and selling of foreign investors, investors in the market today made profits. The 30 -share BSE Sensex opened today at 76,201.10, which is 30.02 points or 0.04 percent higher than the previous closed price. It closed at 78.30 or 0.10% at 76,092.78 at 3.30 pm.

 

Decline in nifty

The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) also opened up to 23,055.75 at 23,055.75 at 3.30 pm to close at 23,031.40 at 3.30 pm.

Global market update

China’s Shanghai composite was damaged in the Asian markets, while Nikkei of Japan, Hong Kong’s Hangseng and South Korea were in the benefits. On Wednesday, the US markets closed with a negative attitude. S&P 500 declined by 0.27%, Dow Jones declined by 0.5%, while Nasdaq Composite increased by 0.03%.

Update on america-China trade war

US President Donald Trump can announce the ‘mutual tariff scheme’ today, under which he will impose tariffs on all countries that impose import duty on the US. Trump has said that talks to end the Ukraine war will begin “immediately”. He also discussed the issue over the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
