After the defeat of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the elections held in Delhi, questions are being raised about the future of the party. This party, which came out of the anti -corruption movement nearly a decade ago, which kept its strong hold in Delhi politics, has now been reduced to only 22 seats. Many big leaders including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal could not save their seats.

After this defeat, there is speculation about the breakdown of AAP in Punjab too. Meanwhile, one of the founding members of the party, Yogendra Yadav, has also questioned the future of the party. He said that the party’s winning MLAs in Delhi can also break and its existence may face a crisis.

Yogendra Yadav feared on the future of AAP

Famous political analyst and co-founder of Swaraj India Party, Yogendra Yadav, said in an interview that AAP’s defeat is not just an electoral shock, but it can become a serious threat to its existence.

He said:

“The party which has more than 40% of the votes, 22 MLAs, does not end immediately. But in view of the way the Aam Aadmi Party is completely dependent on elections and Arvind Kejriwal, serious questions are being raised about the future. Given the BJP’s strength and its strategy, difficulties for AAP may increase further. ”

Yogendra Yadav also said that the real test of AAP will be held in Punjab. If the party loses there too, it will have no other way to escape.

Can AAP lose in Punjab too?

Yogendra Yadav believes that the existence of AAP now rests completely on Punjab.

He said:

“There is no way in Gujarat, there was no significant demonstration in Haryana. Now the future of AAP depends only on Punjab. But the situation does not look good there too. “

  • In the year 2022, AAP formed the government in Punjab, but there is increasing dissatisfaction in the public due to the governance there.
  • The voters of Punjab take quick decisions, if there is dissatisfaction with the government, then next time they can make changes.
  • If AAP Punjab also loses, then the existence of the party may be under threat.

Can AAP MLAs also break?

Yogendra Yadav said that there may be efforts to break the MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi too.

He said:

“In the coming months, an attempt will be made to break 20-25 MLAs of AAP by adopting constitutional or unconstitutional methods, there is no doubt.”

  • There are no longer the ideologically tied leaders left in AAP.
  • The leaders and MLAs in the party, if pressure or temptation is put on them, then they are likely to break.
  • Yogendra Yadav clearly said that it would be a big challenge for Kejriwal to save MLAs.
