Despite the snowy cold, people from the Indian-American community welcomed him warmly to the ‘Blair House’. Modi’s visit took place after a visit to France and reached America at 5:30 pm on Wednesday (4:00 am Indian time).
Indian-American community strongly welcomed
On reaching Blair House, people of the Indian-American community gathered to welcome Prime Minister Modi.
The atmosphere echoed with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Modi Modi’.
People expressed their happiness by waving Indian and American flags.
Despite the harsh cold and rain, a large number of people were present to welcome the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Modi will stay at Blair House during his visit, which is the official guest house of the US President.
