Onion bread pakoda required material
Besan – 1 cup
Rice Dough – ½ cup (for additional crispine)
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder – ½ teaspoon
Turmeric Powder – 4 tablespoons
Chaat Masala – 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala – ½ teaspoon
Salt – as per taste
Onion – 4 (medium size, lactated chopped)
Green Chilli – 2 (Finely chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste-1 teaspoon
Green coriander – finely chopped
Bread-4-5 slices (cut in triangle shape)
Oil – to fry
Water – to make batter
Easy method of making onion bread dumplings
Step 1: Prepare the batter
Add gram flour and rice flour to a large bowl. Add coriander powder, red chili, turmeric, chaat masala, garam masala and salt. Now add a little water and make a thick but smooth batter.
Step 2: Add onion and spices
Add finely chopped onion, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste and green coriander to this finished batter and mix well.
Step 3: Dip the bread in the batter
Cut the bread slices into a triangle shape and immerse it well in the batter, so that it coats well from all sides.
Step 4: Deep Fry
Heat oil in a pan. When the oil becomes moderate, add the bread slices immersed in the batter and fry till it turns golden brown.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy
Remove the fryed bread pakoras on tissue paper so that extra oil is removed. Now serve them with green chutney and hot tea!
