Every day after eating lentils and vegetables, sometimes I feel like eating something different and tasty. In such a situation, the taste of chickpeas, chickpeas or chickpeas paratha seems wonderful. However, it takes a lot of time to make chickpeas as they have to be soaked in advance. If suddenly there is a feeling of eating chickpeas and the time is short, then it is perfect for you. Even without soaking, these chickpeas will become soft and spicy, which will not reduce the taste.
Instant ingredients for quick chickpeas masala
Chole – 1.5 cups
Onion – 3 medium sized (chopped)
Tomato – 2 medium sized (chopped)
Garlic-10-12 buds
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Fast leaves – 1
Cinnamon – 1 small piece
Big Cardamom – 2
Clove-5-6
Cumin – 1 teaspoon
Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Chana Masala – 1 teaspoon
Salt – as per taste
Kasuri Methi – 1 teaspoon
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Recipe for instant chickpeas masala
1. How to cook chickpeas without soaking
- Put chickpeas in the pressure cooker and add so much water that they sink well.
- Cook on high flame till one whistle comes and then turn off the gas.
- Leave the cooker’s lid without opening it for an hour. This will make the chickpeas soft.
2. Prepare the masala
- Make a paste by adding onion, ginger, garlic and tomato to the mixer.
- Now place the cooker on the gas and add two tablespoons of oil.
- Add bay leaves, big cardamom, cloves and cumin seeds to the hot oil and add tempering.
- Now add Kashmiri red chili and red chili powder to it, so that the color of the chickpeas comes beautiful.
- Then add tomato-onion paste and cook it for 7-8 minutes until the oil is separated.
3. Cook the chickpeas in the spices
- When the masala is roasted, add turmeric, coriander powder, gram masala, salt and kasoori methi.
- Mix all the things well and now add chickpeas.
- Fry the springs for 3-4 minutes, then add water as per the need.
- Close the cooker lid and get 4-5 whistles on high flame.
- After this, slow down the gas and allow 5-6 whistles and apply.
- When the cooker cools down, open it and serve hot chickpeas.
