England fast bowler Jofra Archer was spotted napping at the dugout at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad amid the visitors’ batting struggles on Wednesday during the third and final ODI in Ahmedabad. A video of the same surfaced on social media as commentator Ravi Shastri said on air ‘Nice time for a nap’.
Archer played in four out of the five T20Is against India, followed by the opening game of the 50-over series. However, the right-arm speedster has failed to impress, picking up only seven wickets throughout the tour without providing consistent wicket-taking opportunities for the tourists.

England crumble to 3-0 series loss despite another strong start by opening batters
Meanwhile, the tourists ended their limited-overs tour with yet another demoralizing 142-run loss in the third ODI on Wednesday. Hundred from Shubman Gill and fifties from Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli propelled the Men in Blue to a massive 356-run total.
Ben Duckett and Phil Salt raced off the block on yet another occasion, stitching a 60-run stand off only 6.2 overs. The likes of Tom Banton and Joe Root also kept England above the required run-rate but once they departed, the tourists folded like a pack of cards. Banton (38) and Gus Atkinson (38) top-scored for England but their innings lasted only 34.2 overs.
Out of eight limited-overs matches, the Englishmen managed to win only one and will head to the Champions Trophy with equal to no momentum. Jos Buttler and co. will open their campaign against Australia on February 22 in Lahore.
