Kerala Horror Ragging: Five third year students of a government nursing college in Kottayam, Kerala have been arrested for ragging the first year students. Junior students told the police that they were being ragging with them for the last three months and now they have filed a complaint frustrated. The students said in the complaint that ragging started in November last year.
Accused student arrested
The incident took place at the Government Nursing College, Kottayam. Three first year students of Thiruvananthapuram have lodged a complaint with the Gandhinagar police station. In which there are reports of violent ragging for the last three months. Following the complaint, the accused students have been suspended from the college and arrested under the anti -ragging Act.
Threatened with torture video
Regarding the whole matter, the police said that first year students were forced to stand naked and dumbbells were hung on their private organs. Not only this, the accused students also attacked the geometry box with a sharp weapon. Their cruelty stopped and the injuries on their body were imposed lotion, which increased the pain. While the victim was screaming with pain, the lotion was forced into his mouth. Apart from this, the accused students also made a video of this and threatened the victims that if they dared to complain about ragging, their future would be in danger.
Taking money from juniors for alcohol
The victims in their complaint claimed that on Sunday, senior students used to recover money from junior students regularly to buy liquor. Those who refused to pay the money were beaten up. A student, who could not tolerate it, told his father about the incident. His father asked him to lodge a police complaint. After the complaint is filed, all the five accused students have been arrested and now they will be produced in the court.
