Allah Ghaznafar will not be able to participate in the Champions Trophy due to injury. Left -arm spinner Nangialia Kharte has now been included in the Afghan team in place of Ghaznafar. Off -spinner Ghaznafar has played a Test and 11 ODIs for Afghanistan.
Allah Ghaznafar’s cricket career so far
Known as a mysterious spinner, Ghaznafar took four Tests and 21 wickets in 21 ODIs. Ghaznafar played an important role in Afghanistan’s victory over South Africa, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe last year. This would have been the first IPL season of Allah Ghaznafar, but he would not be able to play in this year’s IPL due to injury.
