The Indian Navy is accepting applications for Short Service Commission Officer positions at various levels. The registration procedure began on February 8 and will conclude on February 25, 2025.

Executive Branch: 154 posts

Education Branch: 15 posts

Technical Branch: 101 posts

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates must have graduated or post-graduated with at least 60% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA.

Final-year students with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks can also apply.

Engineering graduates with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA are eligible.

Degrees from foreign universities/colleges must meet the 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA criteria.

Click the Indian Navy SSC Officers Recruitment 2025 link on the home page.

A new page will open, where candidates must enter their registration information.

Click submit and then log in to your account.

Once completed, fill out the application form and upload the relevant papers.

Click submit to download the confirmation page.

Keep a physical copy in case you need it later.

Required documents:

Include mark sheets up to the 5th semester (regular BE/B.Tech) and 7th semester (integrated BE/B.Tech).

Provide mark sheets for all semesters for other degree exams.

Submit date of birth proof (as per 10th & 12th certificates).

Provide CGPA conversion formula for BE/B.Tech.

Submit Merchant Navy certificate (Government of India, Ministry of Shipping and Transport).

Include NCC ‘C’ certificate (issued by the National Cadet Corps).

Attach a recent passport-size color photograph.

Selection process:

Applications are shortlisted based on normalized marks in the qualifying degree.

A merit list is prepared using SSB scores for all entrants.

Selection depends on vacancy availability and medical clearance.
