New Delhi: At the ongoing AI Action Summit in Paris, the capital of France, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is working on its big language model and is preparing the AI talent pool. Regarding the danger of jobs from AI, he said that AI will not eliminate jobs, but will create new opportunities. Along with this, Prime Minister Modi insisted on developing a global structure for confidence and transparency against the risks of AI.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is co-chairmanship of the AI Action Summit organized by France. Addressing this summit, PM Modi said that in today’s time AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence has become a need. We have the greatest talents in the world. It is our responsibility to protect people’s data. Some people are worried about increasing the power of machines, but there is nothing to worry about it.
Prime Minister Modi said that AI is bringing changes in the lives of millions of people. The nature of employment is also changing over time. We have to pay attention to the employment crisis caused by AI. History is a witness that technology does not snatch jobs, but creates opportunities for new jobs. We have to be ready for this too.
Prime Minister Modi said that people need to learn new skills in the AI era. AI for the future, we have to invest in teaching people new skills. The Prime Minister also mentioned the benefits of AI in areas like education and agriculture. AI is changing our politics, economy, security and society. With the help of AI, the speed of reaching the sustainable energy goals can be increased. However, he said that we also need to be cautious about the growing influence of AI in the world.
Giving information about India’s LLM, PM Modi said that India will soon prepare its big language model. Earlier, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also said that India will soon develop its own AI model. India will create AI computing infrastructure with the help of 18,000 GPU. It can be used for development in the AI sector by students and start-ups. In the general budget, 100 crore rupees have been allocated for work in the AI sector. For this, it has been announced to allocate Rs 500 crore.
Prime Minister Modi’s friend Macron welcomed him warmly
Paris: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Paris, the French capital to attend the AI summit, where French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday organized a dinner at Elisi Palace in his honor. PM Modi wrote in a post on X, “I was very happy to meet his friend President Macron in Paris.” On the occasion of dinner, Prime Minister Modi also met the newly elected US Vice President JD Vance. This was the first meeting of PM Modi with the top leadership of Trump administration after Donald Trump was elected for his second term. The Prime Minister is leaving for a two -day American visit on Wednesday, so his meeting with US Vice President JD Vance is considered very important. At the meeting with JD Vance, PM Modi welcomed him and said, “Congratulations, extraordinary victory.” The Prime Minister’s Office said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi met French President Emmanuel Macron and US Vice President JD Vance in Paris.
