Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Atharv Airen, marked his place as Indore city topper in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main session 1 results declared on Tuesday, with 99.99 percentile. Sadly, no one from Indore and the entire state was able to achieve 100 percentile. 

With 9,500 students from Indore participating in JEE Main 2025 Session 1, the city continues to be a significant contributor to the academic fabric of India. Out of 9,500 students, 125 students have achieved a percentile over 99.00. 

Indore’s top performers: A glimpse of success

* Atharv Airen topped the charts from Indore. His deep interest in mathematics since class 9 and his desire to become a computer science engineer were key drivers of his success.

Atharv attributes his journey to hard work, patience, and unwavering support from his parents, both businesspersons, who always encouraged him. He hopes to be the first engineer in his family. His mantra for success in JEE preparation resonates with “JEE preparation time is strenuous and long, but never lose your morale. With time, things change.”

* Chirayu Jain followed closely with a 99.96 percentile, and Prakhar Kothari made his mark with a solid 99.89 percentile, further showcasing Indore’s strong performance in this highly competitive examination.

Promising female achievers

Indore’s female candidates also stood out in this session. Among the top scorers were:

* Kunjal Patidar, achieved an impressive 99.67 percentile, proving that women from the region are equally excelling in this challenging exam.

* Prisha Mahawar, another standout female achiever, secured 99.59 percentile, reinforcing the growing presence and success of female candidates in STEM fields.

Top state achiever outside Indore

One name that stood out was Madhya Marjit Mujahid Hussain from Burhanpur, who achieved an outstanding 99.9992 percentile, a fantastic achievement for the region.
