Nursing Student Dies In Road Mishap

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 23-year old nursing student died after her two-wheeler was hit by a school bus under Nishatpura police station limits on Sunday night. The school bus has been seized and an FIR has been registered against its driver, police said.

According to reports, Shankar Nagar resident Namrata Ahirwar was pursuing nursing course from a college and also used to work in a private firm. On Sunday, she was returning from her job at Gandhi Nagar on her moped.

She had reached near a guest house when a speeding school bus hit her vehicle.

Namrata received serious injuries and was admitted to a private hospital where she died while undergoing treatment late in the night on Sunday. Police officials said that the body haf been handed over to her kin after post-mortem and efforts were on to trace the bus driver who is at large.

Woman Enters Hostel, Assaults Daughter’s Roommate

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A woman assaulted the minor roommate of her daughter at the Tribal Women Hostel under Shyamla Hills police station limits. On the complaint of the hostel warden, police registered an FIR against the woman and began investigation.

In her complaint given to police, hostel warden Jyoti Kaurav claimed that Rekha Bijhade entered the hostel premises without permission and assaulted a minor inmate on February 7. Assistant sub inspector Radheyshyam said primary investigations revealed that Rekha’s daughter was the roommate of the victim.

The two girls scuffled over an issue while watching mobile phone. It is alleged that Rekha sided with her daughter and slapped her roommate. The hostel warden made a complaint to police when she learnt about the incident, ASI added.

Transgender Woman Found Dead On Railway Track

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Body of a transgender woman was found on the railway track under Sukhi Sewania police station on Sunday morning. The transgender fell from the train and died, police said.

According to reports, a local spotted a body lying on the railway tracks and informed police. TI ram Babu Chaudhary reached the spot and found some documents and a piece of paper in which a name and mobile number of Pooja Guru was mentioned.

Police called on the number and informed about the incident. Pooja informed police that the deceased was a transgender and her name was Tanya Kinnar. Tanya lived at Pahadganj area of Delhi.

TI Chaudhary said the autopsy would be performed after the arrival of other community members from Delhi. The circumstances under which she fell from the train are still to be ascertained, he added.
