A farmer in Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit had a nerve-wracking encounter with a tiger that was caught on camera and has since gone viral. The 42-second video, shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan on social media platform X, captures the intense moment when the big cat crawls towards them and comes within charging distance.
In the footage, the farmer can be seen sitting on his motorcycle in the direction of the tiger, while another man stands beside him. The tger lurks just a few steps away in the dense undergrowth. The two seem tn be aware of the tiger’s presence as one of them is filming the animal As the animal slowly emerges, its movements go unnoticed at first.
But the moment the farmer spots the tiger, he swiftly turns his bike around, preparing to flee. However, in a surprising twist. the tiger does not attack. Instead, it pauses, lowers itself to the ground, and calmly settles d[}wr.l. showing no signs of aggression, Kaswan shared the video with the caption, “A farmer and a tiger encounter.

The video has sparked widespread discussion, with many users emphasizing the importance of respecting wildlife boundaries to ensure peaceful coexistence. One user commented,”Luckily, this ended well.
