The Government of Goa has announced three special trains for Prayagraj to ensure the participation of devotees in Mahakumbh 2025. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant flagged off the first special train from Karmali railway station near Panaji on 6 February. About 1,000 devotees left for Prayagraj in this train. Social Welfare Minister Subhash Fruit Desai and Arts and Culture Minister Govind Gowde were also present on the occasion.

The Government of Goa has provided free travel facility for devotees.

  • First train: 6 February 2025 (leave)
  • Second train: 13 February 2025 (leave)
  • Third Train: 21 February 2025 (leave)

If the demand increases, the operation of additional trains will also be considered.

Free pilgrimage under Mukhyamantri Dev Darshan Yojana

  • Devotees between the ages of 18 and 60, who have no serious health problems, can take advantage of this scheme.
  • Food will be arranged by the Government of Goa during the journey.
  • Devotees will be able to stay in Prayagraj for 24 hours, after which they will have to take a return train.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant congratulated Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the successful event of Mahakumbh 2025 and said that the devotees of Goa are keen to attend this historic event.

Grand presentation of cultural programs in Mahakumbh 2025

Cultural programs will start from 7 February after Basant Panchami bath in Mahakumbh. The event will be held in Ganga Pandal, where well -known artists from all over the country will perform.
