In a post viral on social media, it is being claimed that Indians are being sent by handcuffs and fetters in their feet. A post claims that more than 200 Indians have been deported in an inhuman manner. Handcuffs and legs were tied in his hands. It was also said that he was treated like criminals and was not allowed to use the toilets during a long flight.

 

What is the truth?
According to the Press Information Bureau (PIB), a fake picture is being shared by several accounts on social media. It is being claimed that handcuffs and fetters were installed while deporting illegal Indian immigrants from the US. The PIB said that the picture shared in this post is not of Indians. But it belongs to those who are being sent to Guatemala.

104 Indians returned
According to PTI, an American military aircraft with 104 illegal Indian migrants landed at Sri Guru Ramdasji International Airport on Wednesday. Sources gave this information. Sources said that the exiles include 30 people from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, 37 from Gujarat, three from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh and two from Chandigarh. According to sources, the deported people include 19 women, a 4 -year -old child, five and seven years old girls and 13 minor children.
