A four -year -old child died after drowning in a drum used to keep liquor produced in illegally operated liquor furnaces in the district. After which there was an uproar. People were very angry about this. People reported this to Sugoli police station. After which the Sugauli police team reached there and took the body of the child from the spot.

Motihari SP has taken it seriously and has formed a team led by DSP for quick investigation and action in the case. He ordered a case of murder against the liquor seller.

 

According to the information received in connection with the incident, the statue of Goddess Saraswati was being immersed near the river in ward number five of South Mansingha Panchayat of Sugoli police station area of ​​the district. Meanwhile, Sujay Kumar, the four -year -old son of the villagers, who was keeping liquor there, fell into the drum and died due to drowning.

After the incident, hundreds of villagers gathered there and started an uproar. After this, the police arrived and pacified the people and took the body in possession and started investigating the matter and further action. Motihari SP has formed a team under the leadership of DSP, taking a tough stand on the case. He ordered that if this case is true, a case of murder should be registered against the liquor businessman and action should be taken against the responsible officials. Motihari Police is currently avoiding making a statement in this regard.
