A Russian woman created a ruckus on Raipur’s VIP Road late Thursday night. The woman driver, who appeared to be drunk, hit a scooter carrying 3 people, seriously injuring them. When people stopped the car and police arrived at the scene, the woman created a huge scene.

The Telibandha police are taking action against the woman and a young man who was with her. The car she was driving had “Government of India” written on it. The injured have been taken to the hospital where their treatment is ongoing.

The incident occurred around 12:30 at night. Police received information that a speeding car had hit a scooter. The car had “Government of India” written on it. According to police information, the car belonged to DRI (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence) Public Prosecutor Bhavesh Acharya. However, during the incident, the car was being driven by his friend Nodira, a resident of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Both Were Heavily Intoxicated

According to reports, the government lawyer and the foreign woman were heavily drunk during the incident. Both were going to buy cigarettes after leaving a pub. Nodira was driving the car at high speed.

The Russian woman was driving the car while sitting on man’s lap, as per reports. Three young men – Neelkamal Sahu, Lalit Chandel, and Arun Vishwakarma – were injured in the collision. They are residents of Raipur, Mahasamund, and Balodabazar, and work in video shooting. They were admitted to the hospital.

Woman Created High-Voltage Drama

After the incident, people nearby stopped the car. The Telibandha police patrolling team also arrived at the scene. After getting out of the car, the foreign woman started creating a scene. She lost her phone at the scene, after which she started demanding her mobile phone from bystanders, accusing them of taking it. The police kept asking her to come to the station, but she continued creating a disturbance in her intoxicated state.
