An important news has come out from the Pantul bridge in the Mahakumbh Mela area. The administration has allowed only administrative vehicles to run on this bridge, due to which the devotees are facing a lot of problems. Due to stopping the movement of the general public on the bridge, there is resentment among the people.

Due to this decision, a huge crowd gathered around the bridge, which affected the traffic system badly. Many devotees, who were not already aware of this ban, reached the bridge and had to return after covering a long distance.

Many changes were made after Mahakumbh stampede

1. There was a stampede on Mauni Amavasya

On the night of Mauni Amavasya, there was a stampede at two different places in the Mahakumbh region, in which many people were killed and many devotees were seriously injured. The injured were immediately admitted to the hospital.

2. Administration made strict changes

• After the stampede, the government and the administration took many tough decisions.
• All VVIP passes were canceled by 4 February.
• The movement of four -wheelers throughout Prayagraj was banned.
• Permission to reach Sangam Noj was limited.

3. Changes in bathing arrangements

After the stampede, Kumbh bath is now being done in a controlled manner under the new arrangements of the government. The administration has appealed to the devotees not to insist on going to Sangam nose and take a bath on the nearest ghats.

Due to these changes, till now all the baths were taking place in a peaceful manner, but due to the sudden closure of the bridges, there has been a situation of chaos again. Devotees are facing problems due to lack of knowledge of alternative routes.
