Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): An Indian Air Force fighter jet crashed near Jargama Sani Sunari outpost in the Karera police station area of Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district on Thursday.
Both pilots sustained injuries in the crash. Local police and Air Force officials quickly reached the spot.

According to information, the twin seater aircraft Mirage 2000 fighter aircraft crashed in a field in Shivpuri district, during a routine training sortie.
The crashed immediately caused a fire which engulfed and destroyed the jet completely.
A large number of villagers gathered at the spot after noticing the smoke.
Fortunately, both the pilots were safely rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police and administration officials reached the crash site. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
