UP accident: The father and daughter died in a horrific accident at dawn today in Ajgain area on Kanpur-Lucknow highway. Mahakumbh bathed in a bathing marshal jeep and roadways bus, collided at 6:30 am on Thursday, killing two people and 10 were seriously injured. 20 minutes after the accident, the police reached the spot and took out the people trapped in the jeep. The highway was blocked for about an hour due to this accident. It is being told that the accident happened when the jeep driver fell asleep.
12 devotees from Ishagarh and Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh went to Mahakumbh bathing in a marshal jeep. After bathing, he was going to Chitrakoot to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi and Ramlala in Ayodhya. Then the jeep collided with the roadways bus of Mahoba depot running ahead near Chamrauli village in Ajgain area. In which Ishagarh resident father Suresh Tiwari (age 55 years) and his 30 -year -old daughter Radha Vyas died on the spot.
10 people injured
10 people, including Omvati, wife of the deceased Suresh Tiwari, were injured. He was rushed to a nearest hospital for treatment. Two of them were sent to the district hospital due to their condition being critical. CO Hasanganj Santosh Singh confirmed the incident and met the injured.
12 devotees injured in Etawah too
About a dozen devotees were injured when a private bus going from Delhi to Prayagraj on the Agra-Kanpur National Highway in Etawah injured about a dozen devotees. However, Inspector Bhupendra Singh Rathi, in -charge of Bakewar, said that he had suffered minor injuries. The driver of the private bus was also sleepy and the bus collided with the back of the dumper.
