Karnataka: The nurse’s negligence has been revealed in a government hospital in Karnataka. In this government hospital, a nurse pasted a favicic on the wound instead of stitches the wound. However, this nurse has been suspended after the complaint. The decision to suspend them was taken in a meeting convened under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of the State Government on Wednesday.

Fevquic has not been approved for medical use.

According to a statement from the Office of Health and Family Welfare Services Commissioner, Faviquic is an adhesive substance, which is not approved for medical use under the rules.

In this case, the staff nurse, responsible for negligence in duty using Faviquic in the treatment of the child, has been suspended after a preliminary report and further investigation is pending as per rules.

The incident took place on 14 January.

The incident occurred on 14 January at a remote primary health center in Hanagal taluka in Heveri district, when a seven -year -old Gurukishan Annappa Hosmani had a deep wound on his cheek due to excessive bleeding from his body. His parents brought him to the health center for first aid.

Nurses have been doing this for years.

The parents recorded a video of the nurse in which she was saying, “I have been doing this for years and it is better, because putting stitches will lead to a permanent mark on the child’s face.” He later filed an official complaint and also presented the video.

Despite the video evidence, instead of suspending the nurse, the authorities transferred him to another health facility called Gutthal Health Institute in Heveri taluka on 3 February, making him more angry. The Chief Secretary then decided to suspend the nurse.
