Mumbai – Police allegedly seized cash worth Rs 5 crore from a private bank from a dry cleaning shop in Bhandara district of Maharashtra. Police has detained nine people, including the bank manager, in this case.

The local SP gave more information about this entire incident. Nurul Hasan said that some people had lured the branch manager of Axis Bank to pay Rs 6 crore in lieu of cash of Rs 5 crore. On receiving this information, the police along with the local police on Tuesday raided a dry cleaning shop in Indira Nagar in Tumsar area. The police team seized five crore rupees in cash kept in a box in the shop. After this, cash was counted using a note counting machine. Which lasted for two hours.

S.P. on this matter Giving further information, Nurul Hasan said that at first glance it seems that the manager had withdrawn cash from the bank. We have informed senior officials of Axis Bank about the matter and more information will be received after his arrival. He said that eight people, including the bank manager, have been detained for questioning in the incident.
