Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): People in Madhya Pradesh have got some relief from the extreme cold.

The temperature has now risen to 34°C during the day, while nights are around 18°C.

Weather For Next 2 Days

February 7: The day will be sunny, but mornings and nights will remain slightly cold.

February 8: Similar weather conditions will continue.

In the first six days of February, the state has seen three different weather patterns—mild cold in the morning and night, warm afternoons, and light rain in the northern parts.

In the last three days, some districts in Gwalior, Chambal, and Ujjain divisions experienced strong winds and drizzles, while the rest of the state remained clear.

Due to this, the effect of heat has also increased. On Wednesday, cities like Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, and Jabalpur saw a drop of up to 5°C in daytime temperatures.

Temperature to Drop Further

According to the weather department, temperatures are expected to fall by 2-3°C in the next few days. In some cities, the night temperature may go below 10°C again. Currently, it is still higher than that.

Temp Drop From Feb 8

Senior meteorologist Dr Ved Prakash Singh said that a western disturbance is likely to become active on February 8, bringing weather changes. Rain is expected on February 12, 13, and 14 in different parts of the state.

By February 20, winter will reduce further, and both day and night temperatures will rise. At present, a western disturbance is already active.

On Wednesday, many cities in Madhya Pradesh experienced a drop in temperature. Bhopal saw a decrease of 5.5°C, bringing it to 26.2°C, while Indore dropped by 5.2°C to 25.4°C. Gwalior recorded 25.6°C, Ujjain 26°C, and Jabalpur 29.5°C. Raisen was the coldest city at 24.8°C. Other temperatures recorded were Naugaon at 25°C, Dhar at 25.2°C, Tikamgarh at 25.5°C, Pachmarhi at 26.1°C, Ratlam at 26.5°C, and Guna at 26.7°C. Rewa and Sidhi recorded 27.2°C, while Satna and Khajuraho stood at 27.4°C. Sagar registered 28.1°C, Narsinghpur 28.2°C, and Mandla recorded the highest temperature at 33°C.
