The grand Sangam Mahakumbh Mela of spiritual traditions and cultures became even more special with a unique initiative this year. The session of Gurudev in Mahakumbh organized by Art of Living has become very popular among seekers. On Tuesday evening, Global Spiritual Guru and Humanitarian leader Gurudev Sri Ravi Shankar led a satsang, in which thousands of pilgrims and saints immersed themselves into knowledge and devotional music in their presence.

Later, Gurudev provided a unique hybrid experience to millions of people from 180 countries from the holy land of Mahakumbh, in which global meditation was organized. The session was broadcast on Gurudev’s official YouTube channel and the Sattva app of Art of Living. Gurudev said, “The essence of Kumbh festival is to find perfection within itself.” This is possible only when knowledge, devotion and karma are done together. The Ganges flowing here is a symbol of knowledge, Yamuna is a symbol of devotion and is a symbol of invisible Saraswati karma.
Over 5000 people benefited from pulse test
Under the guidance of Gurudev, this program became a transformational experience, which gave humanity a message of unity, peace and compassion. Speaking on the occasion, Gurudev said, “The confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati represents the energy system of Eda, Pingala and Sushumna within us. When we get absorbed in meditation, we experience the nectar of immortality. ” Art of Living has taken several service initiatives at Mahakumbh, including ensuring free food, Ayurvedic healthcare and shelter services for pilgrims in 25 areas. In the Art of Living Camp, 1 ton of khichdi is prepared twice daily for 25,000-30,000 devotees. Additionally, more than 5000 people have benefited from Ayurvedic pulse tests conducted by eight experts of Sri Sri Tattva.
Distinguished guests met Gurudev during satsang
For the help of pilgrims, saints, akharas and kalpasi communities, Sri Sri Sri is distributing 250 tonnes of food supply to millions of pilgrims coming to Kumbh, including ghee, spices, pulses and biscuits. On Tuesday morning, Gurudev took a holy dip in Triveni Sangam and visited the prestigious Bada Hanuman temple in Prayagraj. In the presence of Gurudev at the Art of Living Camp, various sacred rituals including Rudra Puja and Arun Prashan Home as well as Surya Suktam Home were performed. During the satsang on Monday evening, Naga sadhus and other distinguished guests of the old arena met Gurudev.
