The administration has come to an act in full action mode after the killing of a retired soldier by terrorists in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir and his deadly attack on his wife. After this attack, police and security agencies conducted a raid overnight and issued summons for questioning about 500 people till Wednesday.
Tightening screws on those who belong to terrorists
According to police sources, people who have been detained include most of those who have relationships with terrorists in some form or the other. Many of these relatives are associated with terrorist organizations active in Pakistan or PoK or have been involved in any terrorist activity. Apart from this, people whose family members are wanted in terrorism related cases have also been taken under questioning.
A senior police officer said that a large -scale suspects have been detained in the Kashmir Valley and interrogation is on. Although the exact number has not been disclosed, the figure is being mentioned around 500.

According to officials, this is the first time that such a large number of people have been detained after a terrorist attack. The main objective of this action is to give a clear message that now terrorist attacks will not be tolerated at all. Whether terrorist activities are beyond the border or on the other side, now there will be strict action on terrorism.
The attack took place in Kulgam
The incident took place in Beibagh village in Kulgam district of South Kashmir, where the terrorists opened fire on retired soldier Manzoor Ahmed Wage and his wife. His niece was also injured in this attack. Manzoor Ahmed died on the spot, while his wife and niece are undergoing treatment in the hospital and they are now out of danger.
Amit Shah’s security review meeting, information about terrorist gathering in PoK
After this incident, Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level security review meeting on Wednesday, in which the current situation of Jammu and Kashmir was discussed. During this time it was revealed that PoK and Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists are getting a big gathering in Pakistan. In view of this, a high alert has been declared in the whole of Kashmir.
Strict action will also be taken on overground workers
In the last few years, the government has not only taken action against the people involved in the terrorist activities, but has also tightened the grip on the overground workers (OGWS), who serve in assistance for terrorist organizations. This time too, security agencies are preparing to identify such people and take drastic measures against them.
