A shocking case has come to light from Howrah district of West Bengal, where the blind wife in love with the lover has done a strange act. The woman sold her husband’s kidney for Rs 10 lakh and later escaped with her lover with all the money.
The woman asked her husband to raise money for the daughter’s education and forced her to sell her kidney for Rs 10 lakh. The police have started investigation on the complaint of the husband. The husband said in the complaint that his wife was pressurizing her to sell the kidney for money for the last one year. He said that with this money, she will run the expenses of the house well and enroll her 12 -year -old daughter in a good school.
He then agreed to sell the kidney and approached a buyer. Last month, after surgery, the husband brought the money home. His wife asked him not to go out to rest and recover quickly. After this, the family started searching for him with the help of friends and acquaintances. The woman was found in a house in Barrackpore, the northern suburb of Kolkata, which is not far from Howrah. The man with whom she ran away was also living in this house. The woman said that she met her lover on Facebook. Both were in a relationship for the last one year.
Police said that when her husband, mother -in -law and daughter went to the man’s house in Barrackpore, she refused to come out. Her lover told that since marriage, her in -laws harassed her physically and mentally for 16 years. She will divorce him accusing him of atrocities. The victim’s husband denied that his wife had taken cash from her in -laws in Sankarail. Police said they would first watch the video of the conversation between the woman’s lover and her husband’s family. The woman and her lover will be questioned before taking any action.
