Sudan attack: In Sudan, paramilitary forces fighting the army attacked an open market in Omdurman province. About 54 people have been killed and more than 158 people have been injured in this attack. Officials of Sudan’s Health Department gave information about this on Saturday (1 February). According to him, Sudani Paramilitary Force Rapid Support Force (RSF) carried out the attack.
Death of women and children
Sudan’s Culture Minister and government spokesman Khalid al-Alisir condemned the attack. He said, ‘Most women and children have also been killed in this attack. In addition, the attack has also caused heavy damage to private and public properties. This criminal act highlights the bloody activities of paramilitary forces. This is a violation of international human rights laws.
Even before this, 70 people have died.
Since April 2023, there is a conflict between the Army and RSF in Sudan. The struggle began with increasing tension between the army and the RSF, resulting in a war -like situation in the country’s capital Khartum and eastern regions. A few days ago, the only hospital in L Fasher in Darfur province was attacked by RSF, killing about 70 people. It is noteworthy that so far more than 28 thousand people have lost their lives in this struggle and millions of people have been forced to flee.
