The often share their loved up photos on social media and never miss a chance to shower love on each other. Reportedly, the couple will marry in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on Valentine’s Day.
According to a report in ETimes, Prateik and Priya will tie the knot on February 14 in the presence of their family members and close friends. Reportedly, the intimate wedding ceremony will most likely take place at Prateik’s house in Bandra.
The couple has not reacted to their wedding reports yet. Further details of their wedding are also awaited.
Prateik, the son of veteran actors Raj Babbar and Smita Patil, made his relationship with Priya official in 2023.
According to several media reports, the Chhichhore actor proposed to his ladylove in November 2023 two days before Priya’s birthday and she said ‘Yes’ to him. Last year, it was reported that Prateik and Priya didn’t have an engagement party, instead they planned to combine it with their wedding ceremony.
Talking about his relationship with Priya, Prateik had earlier told ETimes, “I was separated, going through divorce and Priya had broken off her engagement. It was then, when I slipped into her DMs in 2020. When we kissed first, it was game over. I knew it (she is the one). I was hesitant initially due to my divorce and how complicated it was. But she is my home. I am more obsessed with her.”
Earlier, Prateik was married to Sanya Sagar. However, after four years of marriage, they decided to split in 2023.
Opening up about his divorce, he had said, “It was heartbreaking. I was an absolute mess for a really long time. I got married for all the wrong reasons. We thought we would figure out love and compatibility on our way. (But) It doesn’t work like that. You need to figure out everything before. Emotional frustrations led to bad choices and decisions. I felt betrayed in my marriage. But (in retrospect) if that marriage had not failed, I wouldn’t have met the woman in my life today.”
