The video shows a monkey suddenly appearing near the mortal remains of a deceased woman and performing actions that people on social media are describing as deeply touching. According to reports, Anusaya Maroti Dhavne, 75, a resident of Pipanlagav Maruti in Varora taluka, passed away on January 29. Her death brought immense grief to her family, who were preparing for her last rites.
As Anusaya’s body was being taken to the cremation ground, a monkey arrived. Perceived by some as a manifestation of Lord Hanuman, the monkey paid respects to the mortal remains. Contrary to expectations that it would leave shortly, the monkey did something extraordinary. Reports suggest it approached the deceased, removed her bangles, placed her glasses aside, and embraced the body.
The scene was both unusual and mysterious, as the monkey performed these actions with apparent reverence and respect. It remained at the cremation ground until the entire funeral process was complete. When Anusaya’s family returned to collect her ashes, the monkey reappeared, accompanying them home before departing.
