The budget session is starting from today. Prior to the start of the budget session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation at the gate of Parliament House. He said that before the budget, I bow to Goddess Lakshmi. He also narrated a Sanskrit verse. Prime Minister Modi said that Goddess Lakshmi gives us accomplishment and intelligence. It also brings prosperity and prosperity. I pray to Goddess Lakshmi to special blessings on every poor and middle class community of the country.
This budget will create a new confidence.
Before the start of the budget session, PM Modi said that friends, our republic has completed 75 years. The people of the country have given me this responsibility for the third time. This is the first full budget of the third term. I can say with confidence that when the country has taken 100 years of independence in 2047, the resolution of the developed India, this budget session, will add a new confidence in it. This will provide new energy that when the country celebrates 100 years of independence, it will continue to move forward. 140 crore countrymen will fulfill this resolution with their collective efforts.
Working in mission mode
PM Modi said that in the third term, we are moving forward in mission mode towards the all -round development of the country, whether it is geographically, socially or financially. It has been the basis of our economic roadmap in innovation, inclusion and investment. In this session, as usual, the House will have to discuss many historical Bills and as a result of extensive deliberations, there will be laws that will work to increase the strength of the nation. In particular, many important decisions will be taken in this session to restore women’s dignity, free them from discrimination of sects and ensure women equal rights to live a respectable life.
He said that through reform, performance and change, this decade will speed up development. State and central governments will have to work together and we can see changes with public participation. Our country is young, we have youth power and the youth of today’s 20-25 years, when they turn 45-50, will be the biggest beneficiaries of developed India. He will be at the stage of his life when it will be in a position to decide whether to move forward with a developed India, proudly, in the century starting after independence.
