Eye bleeding: The outbreak of dangerous and rare virus Marberg is spreading in the African country of Tanzania. 9 people have died due to this virus. This virus is also known as eye bleeding disease. Because the person infected with this virus starts bleeding from the eyes. The mortality rate of this virus is up to 90 percent. Keeping this in mind, the World Health Organization has issued an alert.

 

The Marburg virus is a malignant infection that causes hemorrhagic fever. Which causes damage to body parts and nerves. Due to which internal bleeding occurs and bleeding starts coming out of the eye, ear and mouth. The effect of this virus is similar to Ebola and it spreads by exposure to the physical fluid of an infected person. Scientists believe that the virus is probably spread from bats.

 

The spread of this virus has been confirmed by Tanzania. This infection is spreading rapidly in Kagera. So far 10 people have been infected, out of which 9 have died. The World Health Organization says that this figure may increase in the coming days.

The face of a person infected with this virus becomes like a ghost. This means that the eyes go inward and the face becomes emotionless. Early symptoms include fever, headache, abdominal pain, vomiting or diarrhea. Then internal bleeding begins.

There is no vaccine or specific treatment for this virus. The doctor can only treat the patient so that he can give him strength to fight infection. Experts are concerned that the virus can reach other countries through international airports.
