Portuguese and Al-Nassr footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has added yet another goal to his tally as their side secured a 2-1 victory over Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League fixture on Thursday (January 30). The goal also became the 39-year-old’s 921st goal overall as he inches closer to the 1000-goal milestone.

The 35th minute of the game saw the Portuguese striker score the first goal as Croatian mid-fielder Marcelo Brozovic came up with a perfect assist, causing Ronaldo to chip in with a low drive into the bottom right corner as the ball surpassed the goalkeeper’s hands and went in. The veteran footballer followed it up with a trademark celebration and assisted Nawaf Boushal in the second half as Al-Nassr gathered a 2-0 lead. Amir Sayoud netted a consolation goal for Al-Raed but it was Al-Nassr, who had registered their third consecutive win.
