After the explosion, the debris of the tanker fell into the surrounding residential areas, causing heavy damage. Officials said, the explosion was so terrible that the fire broke out immediately after that. The fire was controlled after hours of hard work using more than 10 fire engines and foam-based equipment.

More than 20 buildings were destroyed

According to initial reports, the death of five people was confirmed, but the death toll after finding another body in a house increased to six. The dead include a minor girl and two women. According to police, about 20 houses around the explosion site were completely destroyed, while 70 others were dunted marginally. Apart from this, pets have also been killed in the explosion.

Electricity and gas services were discontinued in the area

Police said that the fire has now been controlled. But keeping security in mind, electricity and gas supply has been stopped here at the moment. So that no major accident happens.

 

LPG was being illegally refilled in the warehouse

Police investigation revealed that the location was identified as an illegal LPG refilling warehouse and exploded during refilling. Gas was being filled with small gas tankers in small tankers and commercial cylinders. He also said that the LPG was allegedly smuggled in the big gas tanker. Five small gas tankers present in the warehouse were destroyed in the explosion.
