Soya is extremely beneficial for health and can be included in its diet in many ways. In addition to inserting into vegetables and casserole, soya can also make delicious kebabs from soy. The ingredients required to make soy kebab
- 2 cups soy chunks
- 2 big boiled potatoes
- 1 inch piece of ginger
- 5-6 garlic buds
- 3-4 green chillies
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- 1½ teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon mango powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- Salt taste
- ½ cup green coriander (finely chopped)
- Ghee (to cook kebab)
Method of making soy kebab
- Boil soy chunks:
Heat water in a vessel. When the water boils, add soy chunks in it and boil for 2-3 minutes. After this, filter them and press the excess water by pressing it by hand. - Blend in the mixer:
Pour boiled soy chunks into the mixer. Add ginger, garlic and green chillies with it. Blend everything well. - Prepare the masala:
Remove the blended mixture in a large pot. Mash boiled potatoes in it. Now add finely chopped coriander and all the spices (red chili, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, mango powder, turmeric, and salt). Mix all the things well. - Make kebabs:
Divide the prepared mixture into small parts and shape the tikki. - Frying process:
Heat some ghee in a non-stick pan. Bake the kebabs on low flame till golden brown and crispy. - Serve:
Serve prepared soy kebabs with mint and coriander green chutney. Together you can also serve Lachha onion.
Tips:
- Instead of deep frying soya kebabs, it is made healthy by cooking on the tawa.
- If you want, you can add a little gram flour or bread -order to bind the kebabs.
