Indore: Relatives Renting Mattresses, Blankets Outside MTH Hospital For ₹50, Raises Security Concerns | FP Photo

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A major security lapse has come to fore at the MTH Hospital, where a man is renting mattresses and blankets to patient relatives for ₹50 per night.

These rented items are being brought into the hospital premises and used by patient families, raising questions on security and regulation.

A widely circulated video shows individuals carrying these mattresses into the hospital grounds and turning it into a ‘Ren Basera’.

Sources said that this arrangement has led to an influx of outsiders into the hospital premises, as there is no proper verification or monitoring of those entering.

While hospital rules allow entry only for the patient and up to two accompanying relatives, this is frequently violated.

Officials have noted that groups of five to six relatives often arrive, and disputes arise when security personnel attempt to enforce the guidelines.

Ashish Raghuvanshi, Security Incharge of MTH Hospital, stated that the hospital management already provides adequate facilities, including mattresses and blankets, for patients and their immediate relatives.

He acknowledged the issue of rented items being brought in from outside and assured that an investigation is underway.

This situation has raised serious concerns over the lack of stringent security checks at the hospital, which could potentially compromise the safety of patients and staff. .
