The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Academy has commenced an induction course for 50 newly recruited Law Officers, selected through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The training program aims to equip these officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to support the agency’s mission of ensuring prompt and effective delivery of justice.

As part of the induction program, the Academy hosted a special event graced by the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Supreme Court of India, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant underscored the critical roles played by prosecutors and investigators in the judicial process. He highlighted that effective prosecution is contingent on a strong partnership between the investigative and legal branches of the agency, ensuring fair and timely dispensation of justice.

The event was also attended by senior executives of the CBI, including Director of Prosecution and the Additional Directors, who actively participated in the discussions. Their presence highlighted the importance of this induction training and reinforced the need for collaboration within the agency to uphold its mandate of integrity and excellence. 

The induction program marks a significant step in preparing the new recruits for their critical roles within the CBI. It reflects the Academy’s commitment to building a robust cadre of law officers dedicated to strengthening India’s criminal justice system.

Senior officers of CBI including Ms. Sampat Meena; Shri AYV Krishna, both Additional Directors; Dr. Padmini Singh, Director of Prosecution, Shri Anish Gupta, DIG Training, CBI; Hon’ble Judges of Ghaziabad Judiciary; Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Ghaziabad and Officers of Local Administration also attended the event.
