Mewing Leopard Cub Rescued

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A team of Pench Tiger Reserve rescued a leopard cub, which was stuck inside the narrow gap of two rocks on Thursday. This leopard cub was found near the site where another cub was found dead. Sources said that a dog squad’s help was taken for the purpose.

The dog squad led the team to the nearby rocky area where another leopard cub was mewing as it had got stuck in the narrow gap of two rocks. It was later safely rescued. Its age is two to three months. For the proper care, leopard cub was sent to Van Vihar. Its care is being taken by the experts.

Body Of Missing Driver Found On Railway Tracks

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The body of a driver was found on the railway tracks under Chhola Mandir police station on Thursday. The man was missing for the past three days. Post-mortem examination of the body has been conducted and further investigations are underway in this connection, police said.

As per reports, resident of Chhola Mandir area, Nagendra Singh (39) had gone missing on January 20 following which his kin lodged a missing complaint with police. On January 23, police found Singh’s body on the railway tracks and informed his family.

Nagendra celebrated his wedding anniversary on January 20 but then suddenly went missing at around 5 pm. Nagendra worked as driver in a company in Gujarat but was at home for past six months and was living with his wife and two children. Police officials said that no suicide note was found with the body. Further investigations are being carried out in this connection.

Criminals Shave Head To Dodge Cops, Held

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Four criminals who attacked a trader got their heads shaved to evade police but got recognised and were nabbed by police team following a chase. The accused have attacked a cafe owner in TT Nagar on Wednesday and a video of the incident went viral on social media.

The cafe and tea stall owners Rohit Wadhwani and Ashish Ahirwar informed police that Rohit Kabirpanthi and his aides refused to pay for tea and cigarettes and assaulted them with swords and rods. An FIR was registered against Rohit Kabirpanthi and others.

TT Nagar police station incharge Sudhir Kumar Arjaria said police teams on Thursday night got vital clue about their presence in Parwalia where a wedding function was being organised at the home of relative of one of them. Following a tip off, police rounded up four suspects with their heads shaven from a deserted house near the marriage venue.

However, they claimed that they were going to Prayagraj for immersion of ashes of the deceased mother of one of them. At first, cops were convinced of their alibi but soon recognised Rohit Kabirpanthi (24) aka Bali who was a regular trouble maker of Sunahri Bagh area and has 25 cases registered against him.

The accused tried to flee when recognised but were chased and nabbed. The other accused Asad Khan aka Cheenu (25) Nitin Katiyare (23) and Daksh Bundela (19) all having multiple criminal cases were also arrested.

Four Held With Stolen Truck, Cement Worth Rs 27 Lakh

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Misrod police traced a cement loaded truck within 24 hours after it was reported stolen by some persons who befriended the truck driver and took away the vehicle after he was drunk. Police arrested four persons including the one who purchased stolen cement bags.

Truck driver Nand Kishor Dashoraji informed police that he reached Bhopal from Rajasthan on January 19. Some persons befriended the driver on pretext of helping him finding the address where the cement was to be delivered. However, the unidentified persons offered liquor to the driver. They stole the truck when the driver was drunk.

The truck owner approached Misrod police on Thursday and lodged a complaint. Using GPS tracker, the police traced the stolen truck near Nandi Crossing 11 mile and arrested two accused Naveen Patidar and Shehzad Khan.

On their confession, the police arrested their aide Karan Gaur and one Adarsh Rawat who purchased the stolen cement. The police also recovered the stolen truck and some remaining cement bags.
