The last date of application for recruitment to 2129 posts of Senior Teacher by Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is today, 24 January. Under this recruitment, senior teachers will be appointed in the Secondary Education Department for 8 different subjects – Mathematics, Hindi, English, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Punjabi and Urdu. So far the Commission has received more than 2 lakh applications for this examination, and this number is likely to increase further at the last minute.

Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of written competitive examination.
Age Limit and Relaxation:
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years (Age will be calculated from 1 January 2026).
- If the candidates are overage on January 1, 2026, they will get additional relaxation of two years in the maximum age limit.
Ability:
- For Hindi, English, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Urdu and Punjabi subjects: Graduation in the concerned subject (as an optional subject) and Degree or Diploma in Education.
- For Science: Graduation with any two of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Micro Biology, Biotech, Biochemistry (as optional subject) and Degree or Diploma in Education.
- For Social Sciences: Graduation with any two of History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration or Philosophy (as an optional subject) and Degree or Diploma in Education.
Salary: Pay Matric Level – L-11, Grade Pay – Rs 4200.
