At least 8 FIITJEE branches have been closed in North India since last week. Students and their parents say that they had paid huge fees (Rs 4-5 lakh) at the time of admission. Now due to the closure of coaching, his dreams are in danger.
Uproar and complaints regarding refund of fees
Students and parents have alleged that the coaching centers were closed without any prior notice. Complaints are being lodged in police stations, in which refund of fees has been demanded.
Employees not receiving salaries became a major reason
According to officials, a large number of employees left the job due to teachers not receiving their salaries on time. Due to this, studies came to a halt and ultimately the centers had to be closed.

FIITJEE’s branches in cities like Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Patna, Meerut and Bhopal have been closed. There is an atmosphere of anger among students and their families everywhere.
Huge uproar in Noida and Ghaziabad
- Noida: Parents demonstrated due to sudden closure of FIITJEE Center located in Sector-62. It was told in the complaints that the operator tried to abscond after taking the fees.
- Ghaziabad: Rajnagar-based FIITJEE Center recovered lakhs of rupees from around 800 students, but classes were later cancelled.
FIR registered in Patna
At Patna’s Kotwali police station, students lodged a complaint of fraud against FIITJEE director DK Goyal and other officials.
Locks in Delhi also
FIITJEE branches of Kalu Sarai and Lakshmi Nagar have also been closed. In Kalu Sarai, classes were canceled due to non-payment of salaries to teachers.
What do parents say?
The parent of a student from Meerut told that he had deposited a fee of Rs 6 lakh. Even when teachers walked off the job, the institute assured that classes would continue. But suddenly it was locked.
Government and administration response
Ghaziabad District School Inspector said that these coaching centers had no valid registration. This is a violation of the UP Coaching Regulation Act, 2002.
