Donald Trump Stargate Project News: The Stargate project launched by Donald Trump in the US has come into controversy since the second day of its announcement. His colleague Musk has criticized the Stargate project announced by Trump and said that if the companies involved in this project do not have much money, then from where will this project progress. The US has also been surprised by the criticism of Trump’s project by Musk.

Everyone is also surprised by the fact that in this project, Trump has made Sam Altman’s OpenAI a stakeholder, which is fully supported by Microsoft. In other words, Trump OpenAI Bay wants to link the project with software giant Microsoft. At one time, the excluding OpenAI co-founder Musk from this project also became a matter of discussion.

According to Trump’s announcement, this project is to be launched in partnership with Oracle, SoftBank and Openai. Sam Altman claims that this will promote AI’s possibilities in the US and strengthen national security with the creation of one lakh new jobs.

Trump said that the initial investment in this project would be $ 100 billion. After this, it will be increased to five times i.e. 500 billion dollars (43 lakh crore). Musk said that Softbank has no funds for investment in other companies other than $ 10 billion.

Altman replied to Musk and said that sometimes you have to think beyond your company. You are speaking wrong, if you want evidence of this, come and see the construction sites going on in Texas. I know that what is best for the country is not always the best for your companies.

The Stargate project is considered to be the biggest project in the IT sector so far. The project involves setting up a data center, building an power generation unit, which will provide infrastructure for rapidly growing AI landscape.

Tech News Outlets reported about Open AI’s data center project Stargate in March 2024. This shows that work on it started before Trump’s announcement. Another company, Cruso Energy Systems announced a specially designed AI center in the south-west of Ebalin, Texas in July. The site is powered by an energy technology company Lansium. Both companies said in a joint statement that the project has an investment of billions of dollars, but did not name the supporters.

AI technology requires large -scale electricity. Both companies said that they are going to resort to renewable energy i.e. solar farm for this. Larry Ellison of Oracle said that the Abiline project is one of the ten data center projects and the number of data centers buildings can be increased to 20.

Microsoft is believed to be behind the stargate of Openai and Microsoft is helping in every way in this project. With Microsoft, chip maker Nvidia and the arm technology are partners in the Stargate project. Regarding Musk’s comments, Satya Nadella of Microsoft said that Microsoft is constructing a global AI infrastructure at a cost of $ 80 billion and out of which $ 50 billion is to be spent in the US alone.
