Aam Aadmi Party has used all its strength to come back to power in Delhi. From road shows, padyatras, public meetings, the party supremo is making new promises to the public almost every day. Now the party has adopted another strategy to ensure its victory. AAP has not only deployed its top leaders from Punjab in Delhi, but has also actively involved women leaders from the state in the campaign, so that they can connect with women voters in the capital.

More than 300 leaders of Punjab, including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, cabinet ministers, MLAs, board presidents and volunteers, are campaigning in Delhi. These include at least 11 women MLAs and other women officials. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is also part of the campaign and she campaigned for party candidate Pradeep Mittal in Rohini on Wednesday.

District Secretary of AAP Women’s Wing from Ludhiana, Nikki Kohli was also with Dr. Gurpreet Kaur. She wrote on X, “The women volunteers from Rohini were excited to meet Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann and work with her on door-to-door visits in societies. “It was not an easy task to enter these societies, but today all the doors were open and people came to show their support for the Aam Aadmi Party and party supremo Arvind Kejriwal ji.”

Amritsar (East) MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur campaigned with Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal in the Delhi Assembly constituency. Speaking to The Indian Express, she said, “As women campaigners, we are going door-to-door and especially connecting with women voters. I had to return to Punjab to oversee the mayor elections in Amritsar, but will soon resume campaigning in Delhi. The party has directed all MLAs and ministers to fulfill their responsibilities both in Punjab and Delhi, so that the work in their constituencies continues.”
