A car in which a bride was travelling was stopped by traffic cops in Punjab, however, they didn’t check driving license or issue a challan on the vehicle. The car was halted for a short while and let off soon when the women seated inside echoed their voices to say they were heading for a Haldi ceremony and the bride was onboard.
A viral video captures a car with a few ladies, all dressed in yellow clothes, being stopped by two Punjab police officers. The reason why the cops stopped the vehicle is unknown, but the visuals showed the interaction the bride and one of the traffic cops engaged in.

If you are guessing this conversation to have been regarding driving license and car documents, you haven’t got that right. When the vehicle was signalled to stop, the bride informed them they were heading to the Haldi celebration at a nearby venue. On hearing this, the cop let them go.
“Meri haldi hai, jaane do” (It’s my haldi ceremony, please let me go)”, the bride said to the police officer.
The cop responded to her and said, “Mooh meetha kara ke jaana”. Before exiting the premises, she said, “Pakka Pakka (Sure sure). Thank you”.
She expressed with joy that she would present the cops with a box of sweets during her return journey on the route.
The two cops were seen extending best wishes to her.
